Our Little Yellow House

Yes, yes, we know. It's been close to half a year since we've updated our blog. Some of you had given up on us. Some of you were irate with us. Please forgive us for not keeping you up to date on our life and plans.

Here we are, six months later, just as busy as ever. While we're not traveling camel back or seeing one of the Seven Wonders of the World, we're living on the edge. We’re living in a house. Our house!

Without boring you with too many details, we asked the Lord what He wanted us to do for the next few years of our lives. The answer was clear that He wanted us to stay in the United States. Then we asked Him if He wanted us to stay, would He please provide a house. It sounds simple, but that took a few months of intense house hunting and prayer. We made it by the skin of our teeth and bought our house at the beginning of May. We've been fixing it up ever since.

Buying a house does not mean we plan to stay here forever. Just until the Lord says it's time to go. We're thinking perhaps a couple years (which isn't very long if you remember 1/2 a year just flew by). But as always and forever will be, our steps are in His hands. (Proverbs 16:9) We want to go where He says to go and stay where He says to stay.

Anyway, if any of you are curious and want to see pictures of our house, click here. We are doing some remodeling these next few days, so be looking out for some more pictures coming up.

We love you guys, too! We miss having you in our house, but we are happy for you that you have your own space - and it's a cute house, too. ;-) The Lord blesses.
